My Students
My class is made up of 18 very energetic boys and girls. We encourage them to be themselves and to see similarities and differences in all the children in the classroom. We encourage them to break stereotypes. We want them to be accepting of other genders and cultures. We are in need of some new and updated supplies. Every year wear and tear shows up on our favorite things. The children enjoy what we have in the classroom and what we use outside for fun.
My Project
My students are currently running on empty in the sad and water tables. We need new sand to last us the rest of the school year. Kinetic sand is a fun but awesome tool to help children with sensory issues. This kind of sand is moldable and can stand its shape for a short period of time. The children are asking for more sand tools to use in the sand box. Along with my sand box I have a water table that is very popular. The children love to play splash and explore the water table. We are requesting more fun and interesting ways for the children to have access to water table and sand table fun.
