We started a lacrosse program at SDHS 5 years ago. Last year we were even league champs! We have also added a JV team and serve over 50 student-athletes. The only problem is that the girls must fundraise for EVERYTHING. This includes officials fees. This grant would allow us to get pertinent items for continued success of the program. This would be a great start to our season and would relieve some pressure for fundraising.

My Project
We have an incredible group of girls that have worked hard to create a championship program. We need these tools to help continue our recent successes but also take the program to the next level. We have to fundraise for everything we need to run a program. Your support will help us purchase new nets for our goals, agility cones and ladders to keep the athletes in shape and injury free, and lacrosse balls for practice and games. We have several students who will even go on to play at the college level. Some of these tools will help strengthen their chances of next level success and scholarship opportunities.
