My Project

We are so excited to get everything our classrooms need to teach STEM and Career lessons to our students. Thank you to Samsung for sponsoring this opportunity for our students!

This project benefits our special needs students!

Everything in this project will be used in a self-contained or resource special needs classroom. Our severe needs classroom teacher requested the convection microwave to be able to teach her students how to cook basic meals. She also requested the sensory tiles and the recordable buttons to make her STEM lessons more hands-on.

Our moderate to severe needs classroom teacher requested the cash register and other assorted items to help her children learn about money and how to make change for job training.

Our mild to moderate classroom teachers requested a cash register for the same reasons as well as a Cricut and sublimation printer and supplies to teach our kids how to use computer programs and to make products on their own. They also requested the button maker, the laser engraver, and the supplies to use both. Our students will be working with the robotics team at our school to learn how to use these machines. They also requested the concrete vibrator to use with molds that the school already has to make stepping stones.

The resource teachers requested various money training items as well as puzzles and interactive kits in order to help their kids learn STEM skills in a hands on way. They also requested a group microwave to teach kids how to make basic foods quickly.

Our students will be getting the best opportunities we and Samsung can provide them to learn science, technology, engineering, and mathematics as well as job skills in those areas! We cannot wait to start using all these wonderful projects.
