Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students in this Dallas Texas Title I school are very young 3rd to 5th graders who come from very diverse backgrounds and also from very demanding environments. All our students come from low-income households.

My students love to explore, build, create and engage in digital learning.

My Project

We are a 1:1 technology campus. We use Chromebooks and tablets to access Google Classroom, Clever and Seesaw for all our academic needs.

We use Samsung Chromebooks for our STEAM initiative to create art designs, create 3d printed designs, generate basic coding for programming and driving real and virtual robots.

Our Chromebooks are very well taken care of by our students, but they do take a beating due to heavy use! We are proud to say that all students took home their computers during these trying times, they will be able to follow their teacher's lesson plans from their homes!
