Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach Title 1 students and these supplies will ensure my students have the items they need to succeed as Title 1 students. My students are very bright but often lack resources that students in non-Title 1 settings have access to. Simple things like snacks, masks, and deodorant are not accessible to my students. This often leaves my students feeling hungry, sick, and insecure. This issue and many others affect their ability to successfully learn while in school.

These supplies will help level the playing field for my students.
