My Project

My 7th grade math students are sharp, determined, and full of potential. They tackle challenging lessons each day from solving equations, analyzing data, and thinking critically. But staying focused and motivated isn’t always easy, especially when hunger gets in the way.

But staying focused and motivated isn’t always easy, especially when hunger gets in the way.

That’s why I’m requesting a supply of individually packaged salty snacks like pretzels, popcorn, crackers, and chips. These snacks will be used to reward effort, support students who come to class hungry, and maintain focus during test prep, group work, or independent practice.

For many of my students, a small snack can make a big difference. It boosts energy, improves concentration, and creates a positive classroom atmosphere where students feel cared for and ready to learn. Whether they’re solving multi-step problems or preparing for test, these snacks will help them stay fueled and focused.
