Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The 2021-2022 school year was definitely one for the books. With the 2022-2023 school year beginning in August, I want all my students to walk in focused on learning and not worrying about supplies.

I would like for every child in my second-grade class to experience this school year with all of the supplies needed to be successful.

Providing crayons, markers, pencils, glue sticks, headphones, dry erase markers/slates, journals, and highlighters will ensure that all of my students will have what they need no matter their circumstances. Providing flexible seating will allow my students to move about the class and find a comfortable spot to read and be actively engaged in their work.
