Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students always come into class with a lot of energy, excited to dance, but unfortunately, they can sometimes get distracted by the personal items they also need to carry with them when they come into the dance room. The dance studio is an empty space without shelving or space for students to put their personal dance shoes or other personal items.
Cubbies would allow the students to have a safe and secure area to put their things, so they wouldn't need to worry about them and be better focused during class.
Currently, students just place their items in a chair where they often get mixed up, lost, or forgotten. By having a designated space to keep their belongings, we can ensure that students do not need to be stressed or distracted about their things.
I often teach my dancers that organization is one of the keys to success. Please help me set my students up to be successful by allowing them to practice their organizational skills and respecting their personal belongings as well as the belongings of others.
