This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Can you imagine being in a middle school lab that does not have any safety equipment?
Our students attend the only k-8 school in our district.
It opened as a k-4 and has slowly grown to include the middle school grades. We are excited to include hands-on scientific inquiry into our science curriculum... but we are lacking the basic safety essentials.
My Project
Students will be able to safely manipulate scientific materials. Students will gain a better understanding of the science curriculum due to hands on experiences. Students will be able use safety precautions. Many activities and experiences will result from the acquisition of the safety materials.
The equipment purchased will be used for future classes of students.
The donation will make a difference because hands on science will become a reality and not a dream. Students will create lasting impressions and learning experiences that will last a lifetime!
