Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in this project will help me ensure safe arrival and dismissal of my precious students. I will use the paper and laminating sheets to make name tags for my students. I will use the name tags to preserve their use and make sure they withstand daily use. Sometimes my young students do not arrive to school with the skill of recognizing or writing their names so they serve an academic purpose as much as they do a satefy purpose.

A safe arrival and dismissal will help my students feel safe and confident at school.

I am particularly in need of the outdoor blanket. My school is very large and it is very important to make sure each child is handed off to the correct adult. Having the visual boundary of the blanket will help keep them safe until their designated adult arrives. The water bottles will also give everyone the opportunity to use the filtered water dispensor at school instead of the drinking fountain.
