My Students

Hello! I am a speech-language pathologist and work with students from PreK to 8th grade. My primary caseload is PreK through 5th grade.

All of the students on my caseload have speech and/or language needs.

Some need help with their /r/ sound, while others need communication devices to express themselves. In my therapy room, we work on social skills, expressive language, understanding language, and much more. Many of my students need help with self-regulation.

My school is diverse. There are some students from middle class families and some are low-income. The budget is not big enough to provide more than just the basics, so I am reaching out to you. I love the kids I work with and want them to succeed each day!

My Project

My speech room is a calm space for my students. However, the shelves that currently store games and materials are falling apart. The shelf pieces fall down if bumped into and is, honestly, unsafe. This project is to simply obtain new shelves and storage so I can focus on providing effective speech therapy rather than worrying about the shelving units falling down. These items are pricey, but will provide my students with a safe area to play and learn. It is truly a necessity for my area and my students.
