Help me give my students the best learning experience. As the new school year begins, we were asked to help provide our students with supplies and to help keep us safe during reading/writing workshop.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is my second year working in a 4th grade ICT classroom. This class has both students with disabilities and general education students. Our school is a Title I school with little funding, and we want all the opportunities to provide the best experience for our students especially with this new year of blending learning ahead of all of us. We want our students to strive for success and be able to achieve greatness! With a new way of teaching this year both online and in-person, I want to start it off with the best materials for my students.
My Project
Families were hit hard this year financially and working in a title 1 school we were asked to help lighten the load by supporting students with supplies. Students will use their writing process folder both at school and at home to help continue their growth with writing. Pencil cases are to help students keep their pencils, erasers, and vocabulary cards in place since students are going to be asked to bring materials back and forth. The sneeze guards are to help protect us and the students when providing guided reading lessons. This will help continue the growth of students and help families by providing supplies.
