My students are active and inquisitive second-grade students who work hard and are motivated to do well. We are an urban elementary school. More than half of our families are identified as low income and almost half of our students are second language learners.
We need separation within the classroom!
When students are calm and comfortable, they can focus for longer periods of time increasing time on task.
Students love to learn! We are an inclusion classroom with special education students, students with autism, and students with ADHD. My students are energetic children who love to learn. Privacy shields will help make my students feel safe and secure in the classroom.
My Project
During these stressful times, I want my students to return to the classroom and feel like they have a safe space to work so they can concentrate on learning.
These privacy shields will do just that!
By covering them in contact paper, we can clean them several times a day. They will also be able to take them to different spots in the classroom.
Learning is difficult when you are stressed or worried. This will give my students a space where they can feel safe and secure and help them to focus on learning.
