My Students
Our first graders are from a small, friendly town where they love to learn and experience engaging ways of learning. Our first graders are very precious to us and keeping them safe during this time of pandemic is our priority.
Creating an environment that makes the children feel safe and allows the parents to feel that their child's health is being protected is important to us.
Providing each student with their own personal desk divider gives them their own personal space but also can allow them to interact safely with their peers.
My Project
As students are sitting at their desk, they can still communicate and engage in conversations during class time with their neighbor with the desk dividers in place. These dividers will help limit the spread of germs from one student to another. Students will be able to engage with the teacher during small group time for reading and/or math with the dividers on the table to help accompany social distancing between students. Students can collaborate with one another face to face at a safe distance with the clear dividers still in place on their desk.
