This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

One thing we're absolutely going to need is proper and effective safety measures in the science lab classroom. We can't safely execute these labs with a safety net incase something were to ever go wrong.

Strategically placed eye-wash stations that attach to the existing sinks and a couple of fire extinguishers would really help to make this lab classroom safer and better equipped to handle the situations that might arise.

15 and 16 year old high schoolers may think that they are grown, but they don't act like it necessarily every day. Also, accidents happen even in college and industry laboratories! Let's give these kids (and me!) the tools to handle whatever happens in this classroom.
