My Students

My students are thriving young performing artists. They are exploring all aspects of performance from music literacy, character development, solo performance, and ensemble experiences. Performing arts experiences encourage collaboration.

Meeting students with 21st century, real-world learning opportunities is essential to providing relevance in a traditional performance ensemble.

I share this idea with my students often. "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit." ~Aristotle.

Our school is in the heart of a community that supports education and knows its value. Students are motivated and engaged. Students are eager to learn; they embrace a challenging work environment and express the desire to be the best in all endeavors.

My Project

Many changes have been required to provide a safe singing environment for my students during covid. Most of our experiences up to this point have been done virtually. Now we are tasked with moving back together face to face. So I am asking for two Germ Guardian Air Purifiers for the classroom rehearsal space. For our live and virtual performances black face mask with backet inserts to help my vocalist with rehearsal and performance. Uniformity is crucial.

Students want to sing but safety is my priority.

With the research and guidance that has been provided, we will be able to continue making beautiful music together. These items will help to support and enhance the PPE measures that have been provided by my school district. Requesting the listed items gives me a sense of ownership in keeping my young artist safe.
