Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Although we have many new rules and regulations to start our new year, our classroom is working hard to stay healthy and safe. Our community school is very diverse where many backgrounds and languages are represented. For most of our students, English is not the primary language. As a result, my students face challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the challenges they face on an everyday basis, I am always looking to provide my students with meaningful learning experiences.

My Project

These materials will help keep my students safe while continuing to learn inside the school environment. Soap and sanitizer will help us to continue to stay germ free while the laminating pouches let me give my students helpful charts that are able to go back and forth from home to school. The magnets and glue sticks allow for our work to be shown off as well as anchor charts and new vocabulary to be posted on our word walls. These items help keep my fifth graders learning and tools to help them and reference to when they need it! Any help that can be provided is greatly appreciated.
