This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I recently started teaching ESE students in my PreK classroom. For over 5 years, I have taught VPK only preparing students for kindergarten. With my new students, I have realized I needed more appropriate items for students with special needs and developmental delays.

These toys will provide my students with items that give them options for centers and exploration play time.

There are many fine motor items that will be rigorous to my students as they are still learning motor functions. My students will have opportunities to explore these items with their hands, texture and smells. The centers the students will have will be rotated and they will each get opportunities daily.
