Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A classroom rug will give my students a safe stage to be themselves, allowing them to reach their full learning potential. All my students come from different backgrounds and cultures. I love how their uniqueness brings new ideas and learning methods to my classroom. In an ever-changing world where, in my opinion, social interactions are decreasing, our students are losing that sense of community building. My goal is to provide my students a safe emotional space to unite as a community, learn from each other's uniqueness, and build on their ways of thinking without fear.
