My Project

Hello future Donors Choose Partners. We are an elementary school that is classified as a Title I school with a big heart, but also a big challenge. Over 95% of our students come from low-income, free and reduced lunch, and single-parent homes. With those challenges, students have struggled to cope with school demands by regulating their emotions. Our campus works double-time to provide resources, emotional support and academic excellence, but we are falling short in being able to provide practical safe spaces for every teacher in every room of the campus for students.

School is requiring more academic and emotional demands from students which can be overwhelming and over stimulating.

With the portable safe space boxes, staff will be able to provide students with sensory, calming, and feelings regulators anywhere in the building. Along with access to the Safe Space Boxes, students can choose through a variety of items to help regulate their mood while communicating their feelings. This easy and quick access to the Box will allow students to have a space to redirect their energy, cope with school demands, and refocus on their academic curriculum.

Yes our teachers are superheroes, but we need your help to provide the Safe Spaces our students need.
