Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
In order for scholars to embed themselves into learning and truly focus, their basic needs must be met first. This includes their own mental health and social-emotional well being. All the items requested are to assist my scholars, grades 6th through 12th grade, manage their emotions and provide them with a safe space to truly express themselves.
My goal for my underserved scholars from low economic backgrounds, is to remove any barriers that prevent them from focusing on their education and make them feel empowered for their future.
Our scholars are grateful for any opportunity set before them, thus any amount of contribution to our Safe Space and and Emotional Growth project is truly appreciated.
