My Students

Third grade is a fun year for students. They love learning about the world around them and they are starting to learn about responsibility. They already have many technological skills but they start learning how to keyboard and learn how to use many different programs. They also learn cursive.

Third graders love to be creative and explore the world around them.

They also are at a critical year for reading as we transition between learning to read and reading to learn. Third grade is a fun year of school.

My Project

These books will help us build a strong community in our classroom. This is especially important after everything we have gone through this year. The books will help teach social and emotional skills, which will teach the students to become great friends and great members of the community.

The UV light will help us be able to normalize our learning in this year of strange changes.

It will allow my students to use manipulatives and then sterilize them quickly. This will help them have more of a hands-on learning experience.

Please help my students have a safe learning environment, one that can be a haven in a chaotic world.
