it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our special education classroom is full of bright, capable students who deserve the same sense of safety and security as everyone else. Right now, our students don’t have a designated space to keep their belongings during the day, which leads to constant worry about their personal items. Something as simple as a set of lockers could make a world of difference in helping them feel safe and respected.
Having lockers in the classroom would not only protect students' belongings but also help them build independence and responsibility.
Knowing their items are secure gives them peace of mind and lets them focus on learning, socializing, and growing. This small change can have a big impact on their confidence and daily experience at school.
