My Students
Students Making A Real Transition (S.M.A.R.T) is how I can best describe my students. Even though they may be moving from home to home or from shelter to shelter due to being homeless, they are resilient, hopeful, and driven. My students always strive to do their best, no matter what obstacles may occur. They are brave, strong, ambitious, and kind. They create a goal, and they persevere through it.
My Project
These materials will make a tremendous impact on my students' learning. The items will be use daily with kindergarten-8 grade students during individual and group sessions.
The materials will help increase my students self-awareness,and teach them the tools and skills to cope, solve problem, express their emotions , manage their anger, and be a positive role model to their peers, family and other students within their community.
By learning these techniques, my students will be encouraged to attend school daily, participate and stay focus in class in order to learn and accomplish their academical goals .
