This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There has not been money in the school budget to replace our student chairs that receive some pretty hard wear and tear from our middle schoolers! Teachers spend their own money on school supplies because they know it matters for students. Seventy-nine percent of teachers said they purchase supplies because they want every student to have the same opportunities in the classroom. I currently buy chairs one by one as they break for my classroom. These requested replacements are not the quality of the Hercules chairs which will last must longer.
