This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are excited about learning! They are students with exceptionalities who have unique personalities and all have very different characteristics. Their special needs makes them unique. Our school is a Title 1 school, which means the majority of the students get free lunch. They love to learn with technology to be just like their typically developing peers. Despite their disabilities, they have a hunger for knowledge and are excited, and happy, to come to school and learn new things each day.
My students benefit most from being in school; even during the pandemic.
My students are ABLE! They are unique and excited about learning. They are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box. They come to school each day ready to try new things and they inspire me everyday.

My Project
This air purifier will be used in my classroom. The air purifier will be used to sanitize the classroom environment to help ensure student health and safety.
Learning is adversely impacted if students are worried about their health or wellbeing; this air purifier will help alleviate some concerns.
This air purifier will simultaneously alleviate concerns, and provide a more sanitized learning environment for all involved.
