This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have 24 kindergarten students in a high poverty area. Many of my students come from broken homes, and they do not have resources that would afford them experiences that we take for granted. My students are awesome and they work really hard even though their home lives are hard. An amazing aspect of my class is the excitement we experience when someone achieves a goal! They inspire me as en educator, as I see them develop into future leaders and tech wizards.
My Project
My little scholars were fortunate enough to receive a personal chromebook that is essential during this distant learning time. When we return to the classroom, I would like a place that my students can keep their Chromebooks safe after school. They can be easily cleaned, charged, and locked up so the students can simply access them the next day. The transportable charging cart is durable and strong enough to hold up to 30 devices. This organizational cart will provide the safety my students need to always be prepared at school.
