My Students

My students are natural scientists, engineers, and explorers.

These little ones are curious, industrious, and investigative.

Their capabilities far exceed their small statures. They constantly question and hypothesize and are now beginning to test their theories. They come to the teachers often to seek resources that will help them in their quest for answers.

It is such a pleasure engaging them in their play as well as watching them use a point of reference to build, to cook, to go shopping and care for babies and pets. It is even a greater moment as I watch their expressions as they acquire new information and begin exercising their newly discovered capabilities. Being a participant in that process is a great reward! I love my students!

My Project

Our new iPad needs to be accessible to 15 pairs of little hands. Hands-on learning is key in Pre-K. We will be able to freely pass the iPad around and search & discover things in all the areas of the classroom as long as we don't have to worry about dropping or breaking our new equipment.

Young children learn in the moment & need quick access to technology.

By helping us get protective covers, you will allow us to make sandcastles come to life in the sand area, waterfalls in the water area, build bridges in the block area, and let our imaginations fly. It will be so easy to research ideas and demonstrate using photos for whatever their creative minds are thinking of.
