My students need the benefit of smooth staff communication during recess. The walkie talkies allow the staff instant communication, in an emergency. These walkie talkies would replace old worn out walkie talkies.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income school district, and my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep them learning and want to provide my students with creative and meaningful educational experiences.

My students have been limited in their life experiences due to income and the isolation of our school district.

I would like to broaden their view of the world and help them see there is so much more outside of our little town.

My Project

These 2-way radios would allow our staff instant communication in an emergency situation. They allow staff on yard duty to alert the office about an injured student, or any situation where help may be needed.

Our teachers would never be incommunicado.

If a teacher has taken students to the lab, or out to PE, the office can still communicate with that teacher, without a phone. In this uncertain day and age, it is vital that school communication be instant, and students are safe.

We are a small impoverished district, and this project would allow us to replace worn-out equipment.
