Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This year, I moved to a new school. ( Title I) my classroom had no rug, nor are there any funds available for one. I bought a cheap rug, but was made to remove it because it was deemed unsafe.

We need a safe, comfortable area for morning meetings and whole group activities.

We meet on the rug to listen to books, do our Daily Oral Language, and watch videos that enhance learning.

We also need an area to play with various toys during inside recess!

The bare floor is cold and uncomfortable!

Please help us to get a warm, safe place to sit. Thank you!
