Safe, Clean and Organized

Help me give my students organized mailboxes and bookshelves with removable trays that can be easily cleaned to decrease the spread of viruses and germs.

My Students

My students are amazing! They continually rise to the challenges provided to them by their teachers, parents and administrators. These children are extremely flexible and accepting of change. This year has shown me how versatile my students truly are!

Young children deserve to have easy access to varied levels and topics of books.

With an increased emphasis on sanitation due to the coronavirus, student materials and supplies need to be stored differently. I would like to provide them with an engaging, organized area to have open access to these items.

My young learners work so hard every day. As they get older, the demand of our independent work time increases. It is my hope that by having the materials organized, that the students will be able to work more efficiently and transition smoothly between centers.

My Project

My students love to read different books with varied levels and interests. The mobile bookshelves will allow students access to all these books while maintaining a clean and organized environment. It is important that all surfaces are able to be sanitized nightly; these mobile bookshelves will provide just that.

Mailboxes are a necessity in a first grade classroom.

By having individual trays, the students will be able to quickly access their own materials. These removable trays can be washed easily in order to decrease viruses and germs.

Magnetic storage is important while trying to maintain a sanitized classroom. The children will not have to touch the actual bin, but rather can turn in assignments and notes by simply dropping them in.
