Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are eager to learn and they are doing it in two languages (Spanish and English) They are kind and loving and they have been learning all the routines and procedures of our classroom and school.
We are so excited about learning Spanish and being able to keep our first language and add English to it and become true bilinguals.
We started the year virtually and now they are about to come back to school and I know they are eager to learn and ready to participate in different activities. They are so excited about being able to meet again in person but we are in need of materials that will help them achieve their goals!
Please, help my emergent bilinguals get what they need to stay safe during this pandemic and to have the materials necessary to get to the top academically!
My Project
The current pandemic brought a different challenge to classrooms around the world! As a teacher, I work hard always to keep my students safe, but in this current health situation, I am more concerned about the safety of my students and their families, as well as myself and my own family.
I want to keep my students safe and I want them to achieve their goals, that is why I need your help!
I am requesting things like individual dry erasers boards with erasers and markers included, transparent face masks, headphones, and cleaning supplies. These items will help me not only clean the classroom but also teach my students an important lesson on how to maintain ourselves healthy and how to clean after ourselves.
By having cleaning materials available, my students will learn lessons on how to keep themselves healthy and how to keep our workspaces clean. With these materials, I am gonna be able to keep my classroom clean and safe! Please, help us stay healthy and achieve all of our academic goals!
