Safe and Tidy Device Storage

My Project

Student devices have become increasingly important tools in today's classrooms. In my 5th-grade language arts and social studies class, student Chromebooks are used regularly for research, collaboration, interactive projects, and so much more. Having devices that are charged and ready each day is essential for the smooth running of our class.

In my school, Chromebooks are charged and stored in the classroom instead of being sent home with students, taking up quite a bit of space in already cramped classrooms.

With very few outlets and very little free space, finding a place for Chromebooks to be stored neatly and charged daily is quite a challenge. Last year, I tried out multiple different solutions throughout the year to store Chromebooks in a way that wasn't messy, cluttered, or hazardous, but without much luck. A charging cart would eliminate these issues by providing an organized, safe, and compact location for Chromebooks to be kept neatly to charge. We appreciate any help you could give us in keeping our classroom neat and organized and me from going crazy dealing with cords.
