Help me give my students I am requesting these items to make sure that once my students enter back into the building in January, they are able to access the school/ classes and to feel safe.
I have the pleasure of providing services to students in grades 9-12. These students are driven and intelligent, but due to circumstances beyond their control they lack a lot of the resources needed in order to make sure that they are afforded the best educational opportunity available.
The students that I services come from low income families.
My school is currently a Title 1 school. I enjoy being an educator at my school. I feel that the student need me and i need them. Despite their circumstances, they deserve the best education possible. I let them know that everyday they are loved, they are important, and they are somebody. I don't want them to feel that their circumstances have to define who they are!!
My Project
Being safe and being able to receive your education in a conducive environment is the most important thing for me as it relates to my students. The students will have access to the safety products (sanitizer, masks, and wipes) to make sure their area is clean and sanitized. Even when the students return to school, they will continue to complete their assignments via the online platform. The students will be able to print the work out, complete it, and scan it to their teacher so they can receive credit for it.
