Help me give my students window shades to block direct sunlight and protect the students during a lockdown.

My Project
Hello, wonderful supporters! I teach third grade in a rural area. Last year, I moved into a new classroom, only to discover that it had no window coverings. With no budget available for proper window treatments, I resorted to covering the windows with black paper this year. Unfortunately, this makeshift solution is far from ideal. As we prepare for a new school year, I'm reaching out to you to help us secure shades for our classroom windows. The school has decided to put up reflective tint on the windows, but I don't believe this is sufficient for the safety and comfort of my students, especially during a potential lockdown.
My third graders are curious, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
They thrive in an environment that is safe, comfortable, and conducive to learning. With your generous support, I aim to install high-quality shades on our classroom windows. These shades will enhance safety, provide an additional layer of security during lockdowns, improve comfort by controlling the amount of sunlight entering the room, and help maintain a comfortable temperature and reduce glare. Your contribution will directly fund the purchase and installation of durable, child-safe shades, creating a better learning environment where my students can focus on their education without distractions. Thank you for considering our project. Together, we can create a safe and welcoming classroom where my third graders can thrive.
