This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a special education teacher in a low socioeconomic Title I school, all the students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. My class consists of 25 students. My kids are faced with many challenges in and outside the classroom. They are academically two years below grade level. Many of my students come from single parent homes. Although my kids have varying disabilities (LD, Autism, ED and Mentally Handicapped), they are eager to learn and succeed. I want to provide an atmosphere that is safe, and welcoming. Help me engage and inspire my students by becoming a partner in their learning.
My Project
My students just received 10 Kindle Fire tablets thanks to generous donors. Technology is a key learning tool it makes learning fun and keeps the students engaged.
It's important to keep our tablets charged and ready for use.
A charging station will do just that. It eliminates nasty dangerous wires that can be hazardous to the safety of my students .
Let keep our children safe and our tablets ready.
Not only is it important to provide a safe environment for my students. But teaching my students the importance of keeping their learning tools safe and in good condition. That's why it's important to have safety covers for out tablets.
So let's keep my students safe and their tablets crack free and in good working condition.
