Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Flexible seating has been proven effective for giving student choice and a voice in the classroom. My students need a safe and comfortable place to sit that is not the typical student desk.
While we have a lot of tables, different learning spaces, and chairs, presenting an alternative options for the students to sit in will bring a new level of engagement and comfort.
Because there are definitely moments when the students need to take a break or rest their heads, this loveseat would give them that space they can share and the space that they need.
