Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students vary from K to 2nd grade but are mainly K to 1st graders. They have various delays or disorders including but not limited to language, articulation, Autism, intellectual, hearing, phonological, and/or learning challenges.
Their learning capacity grows each time they are introduced to motivational and dynamic tools.
As long as they are set up for success and know the best is expected we sit back and wait for them to amaze us by surpassing our expectations. They’re awesome.
My Project
Given today's needs for a safe and clean learning environment, teachers and therapists are finding themselves running through cleaning and PPE materials quickly.
My students use their tablets, headphones, keyboards and/or materials often during their therapy services and each is cleaned between uses.
Receiving speech and language services on tablets in and out of the school building has helped them maintained consistency during sudden school closures. These materials will help safeguard the students and the staff. Please help them stay safe and clean using their therapeutic materials during speech and language services.
