Children’s attention are greatly enhanced with a multi sensory approach. The use of an iPad mini allows for dynamic representation of this approach as various speech and language areas are addressed. A speech generated device can increase attention, maintain interest and expand understanding in any group setting. There are many ways the device can grow with the students addressing their numerous goals along with motivating children with behavioral challenges, language delays, physical restraints and resistance in using conventional school supplies. It an effectively save their work, provide appropriate visual feedback as well as a way for them to self monitor speech productions.
