I teach a group of exceptional kindergarten students in the great city of, New Orleans, Louisiana. My students have faced so many trials and obstacles do to life circumstances beyond their control. As a result, many of my kindergarten students come to school lacking early learning skills. A majority of my students are impacted by poverty and language barriers, however, this does not extinguish their desire to learn and do their best every day.
My Project
These materials will help my students tremendously. The items requested will create an enchanted learning environment for students that will make learning fun and engaging. These items will give my students the space needed to store their classroom materials. With the requested items my students will grow academically and become the superstars I know they can be. My students will have access to resources that will enable them to engage with learning in a deeper level. Lastly, my students need these materials to propel them forward in their learning and shore up their reading, writing, and math skills.
