it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Welcome! Kindergarten is such a special place to be! I am so lucky I get to spend my days watching my young students discover and learn. My students and I need basic school supplies such as pencils, laminating sheets to make materials more durable, play-doh and bandaids. Unfortunately, school budgets do not always allow for the purchase of these extra items, and I am seeking your support to provide them for my students.
Many new immigrants find their first home on American soil here in our neighborhood.
Our school is located in City Heights, above the hustle and bustle of the geographic center of San Diego. Eighty-five percent of students are English learners with non-English speakers in the home. Education is very important to our thriving, multicultural school. Supplies can be in short supply at the beginning of the school year as my personal budget is stretched thin to provide the extras that my students deserve. Can you help give my students what they need to be successful this year?
