My Project
Hello! I am requesting these items for my students. My classroom has little to no storage, so many things are in boxes or totes. The students do not have anywhere to put their backpacks, which is why I am requesting the cube storage. The school is on the older side and the ventilation system leaves a lot of dust in the room-the school does not provide that type of cleaning materials, so my students have volunteered to dust for us, but need some supplies! My students are considered inner city, Title 1 students. Their parents often do not have the money to supply the students with the items needed to enhance their organizational/study skills. I would like to incorporate a learning method called, "Color Writing", and it would work well using multicolored pens instead of a bunch of different pens. The students transition from class to class, so specifically colored folders will help them stay organized. Our reading books are circa 2020 and paperback. As you can imagine, they are not fairing so well. I would like the bags so the students can keep their books safe from tearing (even more). I have previously used some of the indicated teacher supplement books at another school and grade. I found good success using them, and would like to incorporate them into the curriculum at this school.
