My Students

Our rural K-12 Charter School encompasses students from eight surrounding counties with a variety of educational needs.

In our elementary school, there are 310 K-5 students who love digital learning!

Each classroom has desktop computers, but we do not have the resources for each child to have a device at home. In response to the COVID-19 virus, we are preparing to begin virtual learning.

We would love to purchase mobile devices for students to use at home so our teachers can provide instruction and continue expanding children's minds during this unprecedented time for education.

My Project

We desire to maintain our family connection with our 310 K-5 students during the closure of our brick and mortar school. For some of our students, we are the only smiling face they consistently see. Our hope is to bridge this rural virtual gap and supply these students with Chromebooks and iPads for one-to-one instruction and feedback.

This technology will allow teachers and students to maintain contact, engage in virtual instruction/learning, and successfully achieve the learning standards outlined by our state.

Students will be able to engage in their learning using technology, rather than completing stacks of pencil and paper assignments.
