Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Planet Earth is our one and only home... for now! I want my students to learn to love Planet Earth so they can make better choices, as children and adults, on Earth Day and every day! Exposing them to electronics at an early age can maybe even help to inspire some to pursue STEM careers in the future. I believe that if they enjoy learning about how the world works, they will enjoy school and look forward to future STEM jobs!

Solar power panels, engineering activities, green circuits and books will allow students to experience the power of creatively capturing sunlight to improve their lives!

I can only imagine what creative discoveries and projects they will make with these supplemental STEM materials. May they be inspired to take materials with them and continue their learning at home and share with family and friends.
