Gifted Students are often infused with excess energy that needs a place to inhabit. Many times, this energy develops into anxiety, stress, and/or impulsive behavior.
As a gifted educator, it is my responsibility and passion that my students find a healthy outlet for all of this excess energy.
The best outlet that I have found is exercise. However, many times, anxious students do not enjoy exercising in front of others due to anxiety.
As such, I'm asking for 2 walking pads to be used by students in my classroom whenever they feel stressed, rigid, anxious, or maybe just need a morning pick-me-up. They will be housed in my room and students will be given scheduled times if needed, or as needed.
