We have read several of the books already this year and can not wait to read the rest. Students have loved interacting with books while learning valuable social skills. The best part of these books are books that the students have not read every single year and our exposed to the same type of lessons such as being kind, being brave, having emotions is normal, and being different is a good thing. \r\n\r\nWhen reading the book No One Owns the Colors the students had a great discussion and were able to relate and I even had one student thank me for letting everyone know there are no boy and girl colors.
