Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We love to lay down and read a all our books. Help us get this cozy, comfortable, clean rug so my students can lay down and feel at ease. We also can use it to have quiet wooden block playtime and build our big puzzles without the puzzle being on the cold classroom floor.
We need this rug so that my students can have access to our classroom books and they can enjoy laying down with a friend to share a book.
This rug will help them build reading skills, help foster the love of reading and most of all share time with a friend. My student enjoy putting together puzzles, STEM engineering gears, and building with magnetic tiles and wooden blocks. This rug will help keep students in an area and be able to build without making a lot of noise.
My students also have reading buddies with fifth graders and this can be an area where they can read with them. We love the colors and it goes well with our camping theme in the classroom.
