Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I would love a rug to be the center of my classroom so that when I ask students to come sit in front of the board they can sit on a rug and not directly on the floor. A classroom rug will also help with specific seating arrangements while on the floor.
Students are more likely to be willing to learn if their classroom feels comfortable and safe.
With a rug, students will be able to feel more comfortable on the floor learning and doing fun activities on the floor.
