My Project

Who wants to sit in a chair all day long? Not us! My students inspire me with their passion for learning, and I strive to create an environment that matches their uniqueness and varied learning styles.

A classroom rug can be an integral learning space in the classroom.

It creates a designated meeting area for students to collaborate, turn-and-talk, and discuss learning strategies with their peers during whole and small group instruction. It's also a flexible seating option for their independent work.

I am requesting two items--a rug that's large enough to comfortably seat up to twenty-eight students at a time and a slip-proof underlay for additional comfort and safety.

My students deserve a welcoming classroom environment that is warm and inviting. A cozy rug will help my students work more diligently, creatively, and enthusiastically. Together, we can make learning more fun and memorable.
