This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year is the first year I will be teaching reading in four years! I am so thrilled to be working with kids in the areas of reading, writing, and literacy. One of the places where I'd love to read to my kids is on the carpet area. We currently don't have a large classroom rug to fit all the students or a place to organize our reading resources. We would be so blessed to receive a rug where all students could be welcome to sit and a place to keep reading items safe and in their place.
